Besides the items listed above, the Law Library also collects audio tapes, a few stand-alone CD-ROMS, and various books accompanied by CD-ROMs or floppy disks.
A good tool for identifying such resources is the
Samford Libraries Catalog. Ask a Reference Librarian for help if needed.
To use media resources in the Law Library, ask for assistance at the Circulation Desk. Typically, patrons may use the
Multimedia and Microform Rooms from library opening until 8:30 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday, and until 4:30 p.m. on
Friday. Hours are subject to change depending on the availability of library personnel. Between law school semesters,
the hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Equipment to support use of media resources includes videocassette players, audiocassette players, laser disk players,
microfiche readers and printers, microfilm readers, projectors, TVs, VCRs, and DVD players. Microfiche copies are
10 cents per page. Please note that microfiche copiers require nickels or dimes. The Law Library does not provide change.
Cumberland faculty, students and staff may request media equipment for use in the law school by sending an e-mail to lawmedia@samford.edu.
